A dictionary of Marshall McLuhan’s quotations

Somebody must have quipped long ago, “Let me make the people’s comics and I care not who writes their songs.” In the one day world of the newspapers, the comics are time binders, making possible a continuity of experience which is not to be found in the day-to-day news itself.
