The gap between the sensibilities of young students (the new TV generation) and their educational programs is very great. The students have already undergone great changes, and they are confronted by teachers and educational procedures that have scarcely changed at all. Yet culture-lag is a factor that cannot be tolerated at all, under electronic conditions of simultaneous “field awareness.”
