TV has taken over. It has wiped out private ego and put people into a collective or tribal state. Private identity has almost disappeared from North America. That's why people go to psychiatrists. They want to know: "What's happening to me? Tell me what to do." The tribal man listens to voices that tell him exactly what to do so he doesn't have to make up his mind.
