And the environment has become a teaching machine. The schoolroom is not that turned on nor that thrilling; this is a simple matter of observation. You don’t have to guess about this, but it should be possible, and it is the sort of thing I work at: to try to find out the reasons why this happens. I know it is happening. I feel it happening. I see it happening, I want to find out why. Instead of telling people that it is happening, it’s more desirable to find out why.
