Andre Girard, the French painter who has done visual experiments for CBS and NBC, has said that it was his master, Rouault who made him interested in TV. For Rouault made his effects as if by light through, rather than light on, as occurs in stained glass. In fact, says Girard, Rouault was the painter of television before TV.
