A dictionary of Marshall McLuhan’s quotations

When the viewer himself becomes a kind of discarnate information pattern, the saturation of that pattern of an electric environment of similar patterns give us the world of the contemporary TV user. This is a parallel to the computer – the only technology that llives on, and produces, the same material.
