A dictionary of Marshall McLuhan’s quotations

In any process there comes a reversal point, and whereas early programs may have been created as capsules or packages for a consumer public, we seem to have reached the flip point of chiasmus, or reversal, where the mass public produces rather than consumes the show. May it not be at this point that we have for the first time the possibility of appealing directly to the mass audience to participate in problem- solving at the highest level? Is there any kind of problem facing experts in any field which a mass audience could not solve?
