A dictionary of Marshall McLuhan’s quotations

Incidentally, I am not a fan of De Chardin’s. I find the evolutionary stuff very tiresome. The idea that anything is better because it comes later, is surely borrowed from pre-electric technologies. By the way, there is one thing that is enormously faster than light or electricity, and that is thought. That is why pattern recognition is only possible to the human mind.
