I’ve been asked to answer a series of questions, one of which is this: “In your opinion will the television school broadcasts ever replace the teacher in the classroom?” Suppose in 1500 AD we have been asked whether we thought that the new portable teaching machine, the printed book, would ever replace oral scholastic debate in the training of the human mind.
