A dictionary of Marshall McLuhan’s quotations

Slang is not incorrect English. It is an untiring probe into the frontiers of a changing corporate awareness. “The cat’s whiskers” and “the cat’s meow” were both felt and heard in the era of the crystal set. No more delicate probe was ever advanced than “the cat’s whiskers” as it explored the declivities of the galena crystal.
