All media are art forms, that is, they are humanly contrived environments which have differing effects on their users. Somebody asked: "Would a cannibal be more civilized if he used a knife and fork?" That query draws sharp attention to the fact that the user is the "content" of the medium, just as he is the "content" of music, or the car.
