There is one huge abyss which is opened between the teacher and the student in this respect– the teacher is committed to learning processes and textbooks that are linear, while dealing with students who have very little experience with linear forms and a huge experience with the nuclear. This means loss of motivation in the classroom; it means loss of attention in the classroom– on a huge scale – terrific leakage.
