Love can be casual. This is one of the good aspects of what they call the Sexual Revolution and of some of the recent reports on it. They point out that love can be casual and beautiful; it doesn’t have to imply ultimate responsibilities. The Pill has removed, to some extent, the problems that used to attend the casual relationship. But at the same time it has raised once more the spectre of veneral disease.
