In the same way comic books were feared and scorned and rejected from the classroom. Their good and bad features in form and content, when carefully set beside other kinds of art and narrative, could have become a major asset to the teacher. Where the student interest is already intensely focused is the natural point at which to begin the elucidation of other problems and interests.
